Despite my uber busy weekend back in my hometown of Shreveport, Louisiana, I was still able to drive back to Dallas on the first thing smoking to make it for the Conscious Couture Resale Event. And let me say, I was not disappointed! Twenty percent of all ticket sales went to benefit Chain Reaction, a Frisco based nonprofit that operates a safe house to provide physical and emotional rehab for young girls who are victims of sexual abuse and human trafficking. How AWESOME is that?! Shopping until you drop is one thing but adding philanthophy in th mix is GENIUS!!! I was able to rest my mind at ease and enjoy some guilt-free, retail therapy! All of the pieces were a mix of vintage, creative handmade designs and awesome fashion finds! I was totally in my element with all of that #girlpower in one space!
