Recently, I was reminded that in order to receive what God has for you, you have to step out on faith and trust that he will lead you to your dreams, passions and desires. Stepping out on faith means investing in YOU, trusting yourself and believing in yourself. If it’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that everyone won’t understand your vision and most won’t support you, but don’t let that stop you. Before you can be great or reach your destination, you have to start from ground zero and take that leap.
When you leap, it’s scary because you don’t know if you’re going to fall for a while, land on your feet or get knocked down. But the thing is, when you step out on faith, you begin to lay the foundation for your future. You begin to lay out who you want to be and where you want to go. I’m a firm believer that what you speak into existence, will become, you only need to be patient and put in the work needed.
When you step out on faith, be prepared for the negative nancy’s, the doubters, debby downers, the naysers and everyone else in between. But the thing is, negative minds can’t comprehend big ideas and dreams; that’s why they’re still struggling from day to day, job to job. Be prepared to lose some people, to cut some people from your life and to go through a number of physical and mental changes. When you step out on faith, you’re in essence preparing yourself for greater things. You’ll begin to change and things will begin to fall into perspective. But first, you have to leap.
When you leap, it’s ok to be scared but let that fear drive you to succeed and reach your goal. When you leap, know that all the dreams and desires that are on your heart were placed there for a reason. You can do it. Whether you’re stepping out on faith to overcome a fear, go after a new job venture, start a business, confess your undying love to someone and so on, step out and do it.
I used to be one of those people who would make excuses as to why I couldn’t or wouldn’t do something and then get upset when I saw people doing extraordinary things. I sat back and realized that the only thing stopping me from reaching my full potential was me and that if I wanted to be someone successful, then I was going to have to go get it myself, by myself for myself.
Whatever you’re contemplating, take a leap and step out on faith. If you can’t stop thinking about it, dreaming about it and etc, just do it. You’ll regret 100% of the things you didn’t do and 0% of what you actually chose to do. It may be scary, it may be uncertain, but it’s the first step to reaching your full potential. You are in charge of your life and you have the ability to write your story. How will it turn out, that’s up to you. Stepping out on faith starts with YOU and is the foundation to growing into who you are destined to be. Just try it, you won’t regret it. http://www.flawedfabulousfearless.com/#!Stepping-Out-On-Faith-Starts-With-YOU/c21kp/577470ed0cf2e26a9986ebea
