T.D. Jakes Hosts Dallas Screening of “Faith under Fire: The Antoinette Tuff Story” Starring Toni Braxton as the Real-life Heroine
Global faith leader and Hollywood film producer, T.D. Jakes will host a Dallas-based screening of Faith under Fire: The Antoinette Tuff Story starring seven-time Grammy Award® winning songstress Toni Braxton as real-life heroine Antoinette Tuff. The Lifetime made-for-TV-movie also features Chicago Med’s YaYa DaCosta, Empire’s Malik Yoba and Jurassic Park III‘s Trevor Morgan in the gripping life-and-death tale.
Jakes, Braxton, Tuff and select cast, producers to walk red carpet preceding film and Q&A following screening.

BACKGROUND: “Faith under Fire” starring Toni Braxton is produced by Sony Pictures Television and based on the 2014 book “Prepared for a Purpose: An Inspiring True Story of Faith, Courage and Compassion in Crisis” by Tuff and Alex Tresniowski. The story details the journey of a struggling single mother who convinced a deranged gunman to surrender peaceably — saving hundreds of lives at the risk of her own after he stormed an elementary school in August 2013.
